The use of carbonized rice hull with beneficial micro organism as beddings to capture the urine and manure were undertaken to address the problem of odor and flies. The product of the undertaking would be an organic fertilizer after 30 days. It would be use to fertilise the forage grass, legumes and fruit trees around the farm. |

| Rice grain drying using the sun |

Sun drying is the traditional method for reducing the moisture content of rice by spreading the grains in the sun. The solar radiation heats up the grains as well as the surrounding air and thus increases the rate of water evaporating from the grains.
